Our spreads – FAQS

Do they need to be refrigerated?

No. They don’t need to be refrigerated. The spreads contain no hydrogenated oil so oil may rise over time. If you do not want this to happen, store them in a fridge will keep them from separation and take them out to soften at room temperature when ready to use.

Why do I find bits of hazelnuts in these spreads?

They are designed to have crunchy texture to hi-light nutty hazelnut flavor.

Are they Gluten free and Vegan?

They contain no gluten or animal products, but not certified.

How much sugar they have in a jar?

Chocolate and Oregon cranberry have 8g of sugar per 2 Tbsp. Toasted coconut has 5g of sugar per 2 Tbsp.



Oregon Hazelnut - Chocolate Cookie

Make cookies with our Oregon Hazelnut Chocolate Spread. To make cookies: Mix 1/2 cup butter, softened , 1/2 cup sugar, 1 egg yolk, 1 tsp vanilla and 1 1/2 cup AP flour Form a dough, roll it out thin then spread our Oregon hazelnut - Chocolate spread on. Roll it and wrap with plastic wrap. Leave in the fridge until firm and easy to handle. Cut the dough and bake for about 20 minutes at 350F
